What started as a love for baking has grown into a family-run bakery serving the Midland-Odessa community through porch stands, farmers markets, and special events.
Every loaf is naturally fermented, hand shaped, and baked in small batches using simple ingredients and plenty of patience.
From our signature Jalapeno Cheddar sourdough to seasonal focaccia, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and pantry favorites, everything we make is created with the same goal - to bring people together around the table.

Hi, I’m Crystal.
What started as a hobby between ER shifts quickly turned into something much bigger. As a registered nurse, I’ve always been passionate about caring for others, and baking became another way to serve my community.
Today, Cactus Sourdough Co. specializes in handcrafted sourdough breads, sweet treats, and farm fresh eggs made right here in Midland, Texas.
Every loaf is mixed, shaped, and baked by hand using simple ingredients and traditional methods that create the flavor and texture sourdough is known for.

Our bakery is inspired by life on our West Texas ranch, where fresh eggs, open skies, and hard work are part of everyday life.
